Wavecom Solutions Corporation is an information and communication technology (ICT) company that specializes in cloud services, unified communications, and carrier and enterprise-grade voice and data solutions. Founded in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2001, Wavecom Solutions has grown from its network-based communication roots to add innovative, enterprise-level managed services and cloud-based solutions. Jeremy Amen, Chief Executive Officer
Jeremy Amen joined Wavecom Solutions as Chief Executive Officer in 2009 bringing business vision and execution discipline to the company as it emerged from new ownership and reorganization. He is responsible for leading the company in new product directions, introducing an expanded product portfolio including the flagship cloud computing platform, WaveFlex Enterprise, and the unified communications product suite, WaveConnect Enterprise, and re-branding the company to reflect its new emphasis to the marketplace. Additionally, Jeremy is leading a geographic expansion in Asia and the Americas beginning with the establishment of a Singapore subsidiary in 2011.
Jeremy came to Wavecom Solutions after numerous leadership roles in BT (British Telecom) including serving as a member of the BT Americas executive team responsible for services operations for international customers. His experience also includes managing the deployment and support of Infonet Services Corporation's world-wide network.
Jeremy holds a B.A. from Harvard, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.
Simon Fiddian, Chief Technology Officer
Simon Fiddian joined Wavecom Solutions in 2009 to serve as Chief Technology Officer. Simon is the technology leader for the company, providing technology vision for new product development as well as technology delivery execution. He is deeply instrumental in both the business and technical aspects of the company’s product and geographic expansion and responsible for the launch of the company’s cloud computing platform, WaveFlex Enterprise.
Prior to coming to Wavecom Solutions, Fiddian had a distinguished leadership career in BT's 21st Century Network Architecture team where he was responsible for the service edge, application management and mobile backhaul architecture. He has extensive implementation and design experience all aspects of leading edge network architecture. Before BT, Simon was a design architect in Infonet Service Corporation’s development engineering organization, and helped architect and implement Infonet’s global MPLS network. Simon is a graduate from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical.
Steve White, Chief Financial Officer
Steve White joined Wavecom Solutions as Chief Financial Officer in 2010 and is responsible for all corporate financial functions. Steve’s mission is to continuously improve the company’s profitability and efficiency through the implementation of capital and operational reporting infrastructure that supports an execution culture to achieve the company’s growth and financial objectives.
Steve joined Wavecom Solutions after filling a number of key global financial roles within BT and Infonet Services Corporation. During his time there, he held Senior Financial roles in support of Infonet’s successful initial public offering (IPO), Infonet’s acquisition by BT, was Infonet’s lead on synergy savings and integration with BT, and then was the simultaneous lead financial partner for global service operations covering the US, Asia Pacific and EMEA regions.
Steve holds a BA in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University.
Richard Choi, Head of Cloud Services
Richard Choi joined Wavecom Solutions in 2011 to execute the company’s cloud vision and strategy. He is responsible for design and implementation of the company’s cloud computing platform, WaveFlex Enterprise. He is known for his tactical leadership capability and for agile development models, modularization and automation of product development cycles.
Richard joins Wavecom Solutions after 11 years at BT and Infonet Services Corporation where he was Head of Infrastructure and Cloud services responsible for design of BT’s Next Generation data center.
Richard has a Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences from University of Massachusetts.
Elizabeth Conner, Head of Business Operations
Elizabeth Conner joined the company in 2009 as Head of Business Operations. She is responsible for cross functional business plan monitoring and execution and for the business infrastructure functions of the company.
Liz has 13 years telecommunications experience in process and systems re-engineering, specializing in change management and Billing/AR capabilities. She has extensive experience in companies such as Accenture, Infonet Services Corporation, and BT. She focuses on Performance Management and Process Improvement for lasting change and efficiency.
Liz holds a Bachelors degree in Management, Business Administration from Grove City College.
Ken Hensarling, Head of Business Development
Ken Hensarling began his Wavecom Solutions career in 2004, and has been in his current position as Head of Business Development for the past three years. Ken is responsible for all new business development activity, partner relationships and channel relationships, and sales development. While at the company he has held several key leadership roles in sales, product management, product development, marketing, training, and network operations.
Prior to Wavecom Solutions, Ken served as Senior Director of Product Management at Spirent Communications in Hawaii. He also led sales at Bay Networks in Honolulu.
Ken holds four degrees including a BA in Communications and a Doctorate in Computer Based Learning.
Noe Kamalu, Head of Customer Care
Noe Kamalu began her career with the company in 2007, and became Head of Customer Care in 2009. Noe manages Wavecom Solutions’s 24x7x365 Service Operations Center. Her SOC team together with her team of Customer Relations Managers assure a personal service touch and customer experience assurance for each of our customers locally and globally.
Noe has extensive customer care experience in the telecommunications, tourism and special events industries. Before joining Wavecom Solutions in 2007, Noe worked for Hawaiian Telcom in retail sales, where she handled the landline, broadband, voice and wireless services for residential and small business customers.
Doug Peris, Head of Asia Business
Doug Peris joined Wavecom Solutions in 2011 as its Managing Director for Asia to lead the company’s growth and development in the region, and is systematically executing our expansion business plan.
Doug has a 16 year experience in various management roles for major technology corporations operating in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Wavecom Solutions, Doug was Vice President Asia Pacific for BT’s services operations since 2005. He led transformational processes across the services business activities focusing on best customer experience through the development and delivery of appropriate customer service strategies and programmes. Before joining BT, Doug held executive positions in Avaya and Lucent.
Doug holds a Masters degree in Management Information Systems, Post-Graduate Diploma in Finance and a Bachelor of Business degree, all from the Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia.
Mark Yasika, Head of Customer Implementation
Mark Yasika joined Wavecom Solutions in 2010 as Head of Customer Implementation. The Customer Implementation team is responsible for activating, installing, and supporting services to all our customers utilizing its 24x7x365 service operations center.
Mark brings 25 years of domain experience, including as Head of BT Americas’ Service
Delivery organization, which delivered world class results under his leadership. Prior to BT, Mark was Director of Technical Support for Infonet USA.
Mark has a BSBA from Dominican College and has taken Graduate Level training at Mount Saint Mary College.
