Jeremy Amen, Chief Executive Officer

Jeremy joined Wavecom Solutions after a successful tenure at BT, where he served on BT America’s executive management team. While there, he held various senior management positions in the company’s global services organization, which included the division responsible for customer service operations for its international customers in the Americas. Prior to that, Jeremy was employed by Infonet Services Corporation, a global managed data services company. At Infonet, Jeremy was a member of the executive management team, where he led the division responsible for deploying and supporting its world-wide network. He joined Infonet from O’Melveny & Meyers, LLP, where he practiced general business, and mergers and acquisitions law in the telecommunications and technology industries. Jeremy holds a BA from Harvard, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Simon Fiddian, Chief Technology Officer

Simon joined Wavecom Solutions as CTO in October, 2009 after working for BT in the 21st Century Network Architecture team in the Los Angeles office. While at BT, he was responsible for the Service Edge, Application Management and Mobile Backhaul Architecture. Previously, he worked at Infonet Services Corporation where he held various roles including the design and implementation of one of the world’s first global MPLS networks supporting converged managed services. Before joining Infonet, Simon worked for Telstra Corp in Melbourne, Australia where he was the design authority for Big Pond Home, oversaw the creation of its global Dial IP platform, and was responsible for the Switched Data Network Service and Operational support processes. He graduated from Swinburne University of Technology with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Tim Sansom, Chief Financial Officer

Tim has over twenty-one years of financial experience in the telecommunications industry. Tim was previously with GST Telecom where he held several management positions including Controller, Budget Director and Director of Finance. He has extensive experience in accounting, financial planning, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury functions. Tim was a member of the founding team of GST Telecom, and was also involved in the creation and growth of Electric Lightwave, a Washington based telecom provider. Before GST, Tim was a partner in a CPA firm where he specialized in forecasts and projections and financial consulting.

Bill Billock, Retail Sales

Bill is a twenty-five year telecommunications industry veteran who has held numerous positions throughout his career. Before joining Wavecom Solutions in 2004, Bill worked in the Call Center industry on the mainland where he, as a Sales Engineer, designed technologies, including Computer Telephony Integration and Interactive Voice Response. In 2004, Bill moved to the Big Island of Hawaii where he quickly cultivated a territory for Wavecom Solutions Communications’ Business to Business solutions. Along with managing Wavecom Solutions’ retail Account Executives, Bill is an active member of the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, and an Area Director for a word-of-mouth referral organization called Business Network International of Hawaii.

Jim Sturges, Carrier Business

Jim has been a communications industry executive and entrepreneur for almost thirty years. Starting out as a traffic engineer in the early competitive LD industry with MCI, he has been fortunate to be a senior executive and key player in some of the most successful telecommunications growth companies of recent decades, such as WorldCom Communications, during its rise to prominence, and Sage Telecom, one of the most profitable and fastest growing CLECs of the early 2000s. He has also founded and operated a nationwide CLEC, as well as two software development firms specializing in network design software and softswitch technology. In addition to bringing his considerable experience to bear across the company's general portfolio, Jim currently specializes in developing and leading the company's carrier business, which includes finding innovative network solutions for major carriers, as well as helping to develop carrier products and network capabilities for our carrier partners.

Noe Kamalu, Customer Advocacy

Noe has extensive customer care experience in both the telecommunications and tourism and special events industries. At Wavecom Solutions, Noe is responsible for ensuring our customers’ needs are met in a priority fashion, and that each of their respective overall experiences with us is a positive one. Before joining Wavecom Solutions in 2007, Noe worked for Hawaiian Telcom, formerly Verizon Hawaii, in Retail Sales, where she handled the landline, broadband, voice and wireless services for residential and small business customers. Prior to that, she worked at Kualoa Ranch as the Special Events Manger, where she was instrumental in coordinating company events, large group events, weddings, and films, and where she had 24x7x365 accountability for ensuring the clients’ events were delivered on-time with quality.

Ken Hensarling, Business Development

Ken has over twenty years experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries. His background includes product development, product management, sales, marketing, training, programming, and network operations. Prior to joining Wavecom Solutions in 2005, Ken served as Sr. Director of Product Management at Spirent Communications in Hawaii. While at Spirent his product management and technical marketing teams helped double sales by launching several award winning products. In 1995 he opened the field sales office for Bay Networks in Honolulu and increased sales from $1.5 million to over $4.5 million in 18 months. Ken holds four degrees including a BA in Communications and a Doctorate in Computer Based Learning.

Michelle Viel, Systems Architecture and Engineering

Michelle has over twelve years of experience in the information technology field, including five years in the telecom industry. She has extensive expertise in all areas of application development and design. She has held critical roles in shaping systems architecture and streamlining processes and performance. Before joining Wavecom Solutions in 2004, she worked at Umpqua Bank where she led key projects in software development and process optimization. She holds a BA in Business Administration and is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (Honolulu Chapter).
